Since 2010...

... I have hated going to bed on 18th of February knowing that I had to deal with and live the next day. 3 years ago we were dealt the devastating news that every parent to be dreads. Like Jacki, in those early days I did not know how I would deal with it or could even see past the next hour, let alone days, weeks and year. 

But we did and through our amazing network of family, friends and the kindness of people we hardly knew we emerged stronger and more together. The love for our daughter Louise wrapped around us and protected us through all sorts of trying times.

Today we are are family of five because without that fateful day back in 2010 we probably would not have met Lily and James and like Lou I could not imagine a life without you two. Lou, you know how much mum and I miss you and would do anything to hold all three of you together just once. But that can only happen in our heart and for that I am eternally grateful for you giving us Lily and James. Happy birthday sweetheart, love you lots sleep tight xxxx
